The thirteenth constellation
What about Ophiuchus and the 13 zodiac constellations?
These pages follow the twelve constellations associated with the traditional twelve zodiac signs. Astronomically, however, the Sun's apparent yearly path along the ecliptic also crosses Ophiuchus, which is why you may see references to 13 zodiac constellations. Ophiuchus is not one of the twelve signs of the tropical zodiac used in Western astrology.

Constellations and zodiac signs are not the same
Constellations are official astronomical regions of different sizes. The twelve astrological signs instead divide the ecliptic into twelve equal 30-degree sectors. Daily Zodiac connects the two worlds while keeping the concepts clearly distinct.
