This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and tracking technologies used by DailyZodiac and explains how preferences can be changed.

Technical consent cookie

dz_cookie_consent is a first-party technical cookie. It stores the policy version, the analytics choice and the date of that choice. It lasts for up to 180 days and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Google Analytics 4 and Consent Mode

DailyZodiac uses Google Analytics 4 with Advanced Consent Mode. Before the visitor chooses and after rejection, analytics_storage remains denied. In this state the Google tag may load and may send the cookieless measurements supported by Consent Mode, but it neither reads nor creates Google Analytics cookies and does not use a cookie-based persistent Analytics identifier.

After consent analytics_storage switches to granted and the following first-party cookies may be created:

• _ga: distinguishes users; default duration up to 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id>: maintains session state; default duration up to 2 years.

DailyZodiac uses Analytics for aggregate statistics and disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization remain denied.

Changing or withdrawing the choice

Preferences can be changed at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, analytics_storage returns to denied and DailyZodiac deletes Google Analytics cookies accessible from its domain. The tag may continue to send only the cookieless measurements allowed by Consent Mode.

Browser settings

Cookies can also be viewed, blocked or deleted through browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may prevent the website from remembering previously selected preferences.
